Try to apply at rhythm n hues, they do work similar to yours. Your style would fit there. Look at many other film/animation studios that do work you like, and that are similar to your work. You are in L.A. and you have a well developed portfolio, feel confident that you can get some work in the concept field.
For animation you need an animation demo reel. You need to learn how to animate to get one. Take some classes and learn some squash and stretch stuff.

For story board artists I imagine you need some samples. Try making a comic book or some sample pages that tell story.
