"Cuttlefish Hearts" is about how amazing and alien cuttlefish physiology is. They have 2 fins, 8 arms, 2 tentacles, a beak, dark brown ink, green-blue blood, and 3 hearts! Amazing. Yes, so, this girl has three hearts hidden on her body. (Sculpey and acrylic paint.)

Wow, your sculptures look so cool...
would it be too much trouble to ask what the process to making a work like that looks like?
is it, ideation, sketches, wire screwed on wood, foil and then sculpey???

I usually have a rough sketch of what I want to do, then I build an armature out of wire and tinfoil and staple-gun the feet to a block of wood. I sculpt in stages and bake it in the oven in between... this is so I can handle the sculpture without smudging out details in the finished areas. I usually put a layer of sculpey over the whole body excluding the feet (which are stapled) and use a brush dipped in lighter fluid to smooth out textures, remove any fingerprints, and remove any seams of where sculpey has been added on.
I bake it and then pry it off the wooden block and do the feet. I suggest baking it on a cookie sheet big enough that the sculpture doesn't stick out over the edge, and then making a tent over it out of a folded piece of tinfoil to keep thin extremities from burning or bubbling... I can post process photos of the next sculpture I make so this makes more sense if you would like...
